This is a one day workshop for Human Service Professionals on Substance Abuse Treatment protocols for people with coexisting Physical, Sensory & Cognitive Disabilities.

Abstract/Description of Event/Activity: The 8th Annual Conference on Women and Addiction focuses on direct, positive and creative approaches in recovery for professionals to incorporate into their clinical settings. Topics include: Addressing the needs of children affected by addiction; practical advice on treatment strategies; women's literature as a tool for treatment and self-discovery; and other pertinent topics. It will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn & Conference Center, Wausau, WI.
