Second Annual Picnic

This is a complimentary food and games picnic. We want a chance for people to gather for fun, to learn about the alliance, advocacy goals and training opportunities. This is our second endeavor to provide support to those recovering from alcohol and other drug addiction. Enjoy some substance- free fun! It will be held at Goddard State Park from 1-5pm.

Legislative Day
*Abstract/Description of Event/Activity:
RI Communities for Addiction Recovery Efforts (RICAREs) will be hosting a Legislative Day from 4-6pm. We will begin with a recovery march at the State House from 4-4:30pm. We will then convene on the State House stairs with several legislators speaking on how they plan on addressing drug and alcohol problems in Rhode Island. We will have a panel of recovering members telling their personal stories. We will also have an informational table with brochures.
