This is the second installment in a seven-part series of Webcasts that will discuss and illuminate key issues related to the 2001 Recovery Month observance. Panelists include: Dr. H. Westley Clark, Director, Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT); Dr. Bernard Arons, Director, Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS); Dr. Frank Vocci, Director, Division of Treatment, Research & Development, National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA); Larry Siegel, M.D., Senior Deputy Director for Medical Affairs, Administrator, Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration, District of Columbia.

Families and friends of individuals with substance abuse problems suffer greatly. But the good news is that treatment is available and effective. This program will discuss the fundamentals of addiction treatment, look at effective treatment modalities, and present the latest national treatment initiatives.
