This is the sixth installment in a seven-part series of Webcasts that will discuss and illuminate key issues related to the 2001 Recovery Month observance. Our host will be Dennis Wholey, of the PBS show This Is America with Dennis Wholey and author of The Courage to Change. Panelists include: Dr. Westley Clark (CSAT), Dr. Alan Leshner (NIDA), Dr. Mary Dufour (NIAAA), and Dr. Daniel Hommer (NIAAA).

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, addiction is a brain disease. Scientific approaches are helping us understand the complexities of this brain disease and identify effective means to treat addictions.
