Dear Run for Recovery participant:

Because of the tragic events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, as well as subsequent extensive road closings in Arlington, Vanguard Foundation had to postpone the 6th annual Run for Recovery.

This race was originally scheduled for September 16, 2001 in Pentagon City, Arlington, Virginia. The race will now be run in Washington, DC. This is the DC Area''s largest event of National Recovery Month.
