photo of Christopher Crosby
Christopher Crosby has worked in the Addiction Treatment field for over 26 years. He began his career at Comprehensive Alcoholism Programs, Inc. in 1980-81 when he worked as a detoxification technician and crisis intervention counselor. He was employed as a registered nurse in CARP's primary care center from 1986 through 1987. Over the past two decades, he has worked as a registered nurse, interventionist, group therapist, admissions director, and administrator.

In 1998, Mr. Crosby was one of the founders of The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs, and has been the Chief Executive Officer there for the past two years.

He has been passionately committed to promoting and supporting addiction recovery both professionally and in his community. Mr. Crosby has an unwavering dedication to loving the alcoholic and addict back to health and believes that "addicts can recover; addicts do recover; and recovering people are vital and contributing members of our society."

He was one of the founding members of The Miracles Club in 1986, and he has served in an addiction ministry at his church for the past 8 years. Mr. Crosby is a member of NAADAC's National Political Action Committee, and is involved in public recovery advocacy efforts. He has produced South Florida RecoveryFest at Mizner Park for the past three years, and is currently forming Florida CARES about Recovery, Inc., a non-profit recovery advocacy organization. Mr. Crosby serves on the Board of Directors at Jupiter Christian School and as head of Children's ministries at his home church.
