The impact your organization can have by spreading a lasting message of recovery throughout your community can be beyond measure.

Operation Immersion is a military immersion training for behavioral professionals and was developed by the Tennessee Department of Mental and Developmental Disabilities (TDMHDD), Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (DADAS), and the Tennessee National Guard (TNG) Counter drug Task Force. This 2-1/2 day training immerses attendees in aspects of military culture and provides information on the unique needs of returning service members, veterans, and their families.

North Dakota Addiction Counselors Association sponsors Walk for Recovery, beginning at the Capital in Bismarck, ND. There will be singing, testimonials, and preparation for the Walk for Recovery. The walk will conclude at the Romkota where there will be pizza and drinks and the band, "Fully Loaded" performing live.

Annual camp out for women who are recovering from alcohol and drug abuse and their children with hopes of contributing to the healing of mother and children and develop lasting relationships with other women in recovery for support. Involves activities for women, teens, children and the family as a whole.

In keeping with the spirit of the great Dr. King and his passion for leading civil rights marches and rallies, the Metro-Atlanta Recovery Connection (MARC), a coalition of recovery community organizations, treatment centers, healthcare organizations, service providers, and advocacy groups, will lead a group of people in recovery, their family members and allies on a one an a half (1.5) mile Walk for Recovery. The walk will begin at the intersection of: James P. Brawley Dr. SW & Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., continuing west on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and ending at Mozley Park Recreation Center, 1565 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW. We will have many different service providers from the healthcare industry as well as food, music, gospel chiors, dance groups of all agees, Kids zone, Seniors plus zone, prayer tent with counseling available for those who wish to take part, and many other great activities. Please come out and support our event!

This event will engage elders, adults, and youth that have endured and survived substance abuse, alcoholism, domestic violence and other forms of generational violence. This recovery event is to honor the survivors and encourage and educate our community about the recovery services available at our Tribe. Scrumptious food will be served to the attendees for Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Camp out tent space will be available at Behavioral health back lawn. Tents can be pitched. RVs will have the Camp grounds for parking. Please bring your friends and families to participate.

San Antonio Fighting Back, Inc., in collaboration with many of San Antonio’s non-profit agencies, will join in hosting this 4th annual walk event for prevention educators, treatment providers, clients, families, and interested individuals. The mission for the Recovery Walk SA is to promote awareness of recovery initiatives and celebrate the achievements of all individuals in recovery. There will be a short program to kick off the event followed by the walk through the park. Participants will then return to the pavilion for a Texas style concert, barbeque lunch, and community resource fair. Participants are encouraged to bring family, friends, and pets. Some of the collaborating partners include; San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, B.E.A.T. AIDS, The Patrician Movement, Palmer Drug Abuse Program, Center for Healthcare Services, Lifetime Recovery, and many others.
Participation in the walk is FREE and open to the public.

Conflict Resolution in Recovery is a therapeutic training that is skilled-based and focused on the brain; how the brain works in conflict and strategies to affect the quality of recovery in relationships.
