annual Recovery Fest on September 8, 2012 from noon until 5:00PM at Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church, Henrico, VA. As part of National Recovery Month, this is a family event. There will be live music, speakers, voter registration, fun kid’s activities, EZ Grill
children BBQ competition, Corn Hole Tournament and so much more. They have invited all dignitaries and officials in the Commonwealth. Our honored guest speaker is Laurie Dhue, former news anchor for FOX News, MSNBC, and CNN. This event is anticipating at least
8,000 in attendance. We also have a few sponsors as of now, A&E Network, Richmond Behavioral Health Authority, and Caron. There should be dozens of addiction service providers available. There are Richmond area restaurants participating in the barbecue cook-off.
The cook-off is a nationally sanctioned event by Kansas City Barbecue Society. The winner of this event will be able to compete in BBQ competitions nationally. McShin hosts these events in order to spread the message of hope to individuals and families who
