10 Things Parents Don't Know About Drugs and Alcohol: A Panel Discussion  (4845)

In this panel discussion various speakers will talk about the issues teens and parents face regarding drugs and alcohol use, including: brain development (why teens truly cannot think through to the consequences of risky behavior) and some of the dangerous
effects alcohol and drugs have on the developing brain; the most up-to-date information on fads that teens are partaking in; parents' liabilities if teens are partying at their house; a story from a mom who thought, "Not my kid"; and advice on how to help
your teens if you suspect they are using drugs and alcohol. A Q&A will follow the discussion.
