We would like to invite you to be part of the National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month Celebration. September 2012 marks the 23rd year of observance nationwide and the 8th here in Tuscaloosa County. Recovery Month, now in its 23rd year, highlights
individuals who have reclaimed their lives and are living happy and healthy lives in long-term recovery and also honors the prevention, treatment, and recovery service providers who make recovery possible. This year’s theme, “It’s Worth It,” promotes the message
that recovery in all its forms is possible, and also encourages citizens to take action to help expand and improve the availability of effective prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those in need. This year the celebration will be held Sunday,
September 9th, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Church at Tuscaloosa. We will have lots of food, fun and entertainment. We appreciate all that you are willing to do and would love to extend an invitation to you to attend our event so that you may see how
your gift has been used to change lives. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, The Recovery Month Planning Committee
