Through an educational and interactive forum, a presentation will be made to clients and their families/significant others who are in treatment/recovery to show how employment can play a key role in recovery from substance abuse disorders. In the wake
of legislative reforms and limited resources, connection will be made on how to establish a referral relationship with other providers/potential employers to better meet clients' needs. Employment not only helps clients stay in treatment, but it also builds
resiliency to better prepare the clients and their families/significant others towards recovery.
