In honor and recognition of September being SAMHSA Recovery Month, our JACS program will be spearheading "Clothes for Careers,” a clothing collection and distribution event that will provide new and gently used business attire to people in recovery from
alcohol and/or other drug addiction. This clothing will be of great help when people go on job interviews or land a job and need appropriate work clothes. This event will be open to any recovering person who signs up, regardless of race, religion, age, or
background. It is being hosted by The Resource Training Center, an organization that provides training, support services, and vocational assistance to people in recovery. This event is for people who are healing from the long term effects of addiction, to
provide support as they rebuild their lives. We’re not asking for your money, but for you to look into your hearts by looking through your closets, and donating new or gently used, dry-cleaned clothing that will help people in recovery jump start their wardrobe.
Please call to discuss details of clothing drop or make an appointment to partake in the event.
