In celebration of Dawn Farm’s 40th Anniversary the community is invited to a fun and informative evening that will include a reception with food, beverages and the opportunity to socialize; and a free CE presentation on “From Fear to Faith.” Dawn Farm
was founded in 1973 by two men with little more than a vision and a rented farm house. Despite a non-profit climate that is forcing other programs to close, Dawn Farm Dawn Farm continues to be a place of help and hope. Dawn Farm’s success has been made possible
by staying true to our core values and with the unwaveringly generous community support. This evening is an opportunity to say thank you to supporters and share what we’ve learned. “From Fear to Faith” will be presented by James Balmer, Dawn Farm President;
and Jason Schwartz, LMSW, CAADC, Dawn Farm Clinical Director. This program will describe the evolution of the treatment field, discuss what can be learned from successes and failures, illustrate how mission-driven choices and rejecting fear-based program management
allowed Dawn Farm to thrive. The program provides 1.5 free CE hours approved by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals.
