Heartview is sponsoring 5 Recovery Runners in the 2012 Bismarck Krolls Diner Marathon. The team, named the "Recovery Runners", is made up of Kurt Snyder, Executive Director; Dr. Melissa Henke, Medical Director; Bruce Carlson, Director of Counseling Services;
Candace Ell, Licensed Addiction Counselor; and Bob Johnson, Residential Tech and Recovery Coach. We recognize that recovery from drug and alcohol addiction can be a very difficult but worthwhile journey. The motto of the Recovery Runners is: "Recovery, a race
of a lifetime". All of the team members understand how important recovery is to the individuals afflicted with this illness, their families and for communities. The training for this event and the anticipation of participating on behalf of recovery has had
a special and personal meaning to every one of us.
Location:
Cottonwood Sports Complex to University of Mary and back to Cottonwood.
