On Wednesday, Sept 5th, the International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA) will be holding their 36th annual educational conference in Washington, D.C. We expect over 200 attendees. IntNSA welcoming reception will be the Addiction and Art Exhibition
that has been enormously successful and extremely well received at professional substance abuse conferences and in local communities. Ms. Yvette Torres, CSAT Consumer Affairs Officer, has been invited to open this event. Other keynote speakers from the National
Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, National Institute on Drug Abuse, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Office of National Drug Control Policy, the American Nurses Association and the Veterans Administration will present cutting-edge
knowledge related to addictions research, practice and policy. The International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA provides leading educational programs for nurses and other professionals who work with individuals, groups and populations impacted by alcohol
and drug use, abuse and dependence as well as other addictions
