08/31/2012 12:30 PM - 08/31/2012 1:30 PM

Los Angeles chapter of A New PATH will be holding a "performance art" happening; "ROCK LIFE! Prevent accidental overdose!" This action is part of the national Moms United to End the War on Drugs campaign Please join us, bring photos of loved ones lost
to overdose and signs and participate! We will meet a few steps from the Chinese theater and the walk of fame stars of Michael Jackson and The Doors. We will be staging a "Die In" to bring awareness to those lost through accidental overdose. At exactly 1pm
The LA chapter of A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment and Healing), the Drug Policy Alliance as well as members of other local advocacy groups will "Die" and remain “dead” on the ground for a number of minutes while the names of those lost are read...
WE DEMAND: Greater access to Naloxone for overdose prevention That ‘Good Samaritan” overdose legislation be passed at state and federal levels! That overdose victims be treated with dignity and humanity. That stigma be eliminated by treating drug overdoses
like any other medical emergency Please bring a photo of a loved one lost to overdose and join us in celebration of the lives of those who left too soon.
