September is National Recovery Month and our date has been set for our first Recovery Walk! This event will be held in downtown Annapolis on September 15th and will start at 8am. Our goal is to raise awareness to the surrounding community, families and
local business owners and show that recovery is possible! Recovery Month spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover. Mental and/or substance
use disorders affect all communities nationwide, but with commitment and support, people with these disorders can achieve healthy lifestyles and lead rewarding lives in recovery.
