The Power of Artistic Expression in the Healing Process  (4093)

Author Shirley Faye Cobb will facilitate a workshop on the healing power of artistic expression and it's utility in the treatment and recovery process. She will focus on poetry and will share poems from her published collection entitled "Mending The Hole
in My Soul Through Poetry." Shirley has enjoyed continuous sobriety for more than 20 years. Women from local treatment centers will be invited to attend and participate by sharing their original poetry. Likewise, women from the recovery community and general
public are invited to attend and participate.
