WestCare - Atlanta: Door to Dooor Canvass for Recovery  (4296)

Event Saturday September 22, 2012. Door to Door Canvass from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in targeted high risk drug areas providing fact sheets on how to access recovery services. Canvass teams will be comprised of WestCare staff, graduates alumni of their Outpatient
Recovery Programs, volunteers, college students from Georgia State University and the Atlanta University Center. There will be 4 teams canvassing together on the following streets: Pittsburg Area: Metropolitan Pkwy., University Ave.,: Mechanicsville Area:
Pryor Street, Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd., Windsor St. Hendrix Avenue, & other surrounding streets. Promoting recovery will be the message. The event will conclude with a Recovery Luncheon for volunteers and staff.
