Our second annual Youth Art Exhibition is for high school and college students, age 14-29, in New Hanover County, NC whose work will be selected to appear in a juried exhibition at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) in July and August 2012.
Artists who would like to express his or her opinion on “Addiction and/or Recovery” through two-dimensional art are encouraged to submit. There is no entry fee and artists retain ownership of their original artwork. Monetary awards will be given for the top
three submissions. The 2011 Youth Art Exhibition showed at UNCW, at the Cape Fear Recovery Month Celebration in September 2011, and will show at the Joint Meeting on Adolescent Treatment Effectiveness in Washington, DC in April 2012.
