In celebration of September being National Recovery Month. Tara Treatment Center, Inc. is hosting the independent film documentary, "Bill W.", September 13th and 14th at the Historic Artcraft Theater in Franklin, Indiana. Proceeds from this event will
be used for Tara's Treatment Assistance Fund, which is used to help persons without the financial means necessary to obtain treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction. In 1999, Bill Wilson was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Heroes and Icons of the 20th
Century for his role as co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. With Bill as its driving force, A.A. grew from a handful of men to a world- wide fellowship of over 2 million men and women. Thou- sands of people throughout the world now credit him with saving their
lives – both alcoholics and members of dozens of other 12 Step recovery groups.
