2013 NAMIWalk Connecticut  (4742)

05/18/2013 9:00 AM - 05/18/2013 12:00 AM

Connecticut’s 2013 NAMI Walks is our TENTH ANNIVERSARY Walk. Over the last ten years we have raised almost a million dollars to help support our NAMI Connecticut education, support and advocacy program. The Walk is also our premier event to raise awareness
about mental illness and to help reduce stigma and other barriers to care. Our team captains really make a difference. Their hard work, organization, willingness to solicit funds and bring their teams together on Walk day helped us attract over 1,200 at our
last Walk. And, being a team captain is FUN! Throughout the months leading up to Walk day we hold team captain “challenges” that provide individual captains with great gifts and donor sponsored activities. There’s also a great post-walk event for all team
captains where we honor those who helped us so much. PLEASE JOIN US FOR THIS VERY SPECIAL 10TH ANNIVERSARY WALK. We can’t do it without you!
