2013 NAMIWalk Dallas  (4736)

05/04/2013 8:30 AM - 05/04/2013 12:00 AM

Dallas NAMIWalks is a 5K Walk event designed to increase NAMI’s visibility in our community in order to raise awareness about mental illness, and raise funds to support NAMI programs across North Texas. Every year, the Walk helps people understand the
impact that mental illness has on their communities; the prevalence and indiscriminate nature of these illnesses; the fact that recovery is possible if treatment is available; and about the hope that NAMI provides. As we grow and add to the number of people
that know about NAMI and understand the important role NAMI plays in their lives, we also reduce the number people that have misconceptions about mental illness and those that are affected by it. It’s time to think about how you plan on participating in the
9th Annual 2013 Dallas NAMIWalk on Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Location: LFair Park, Band Shell,

Dallas, TX
