NAMIWalks - Changing Minds One Step at a Time, celebrates hope! NAMIWalks' momentum is unstoppable! NAMIWalks Hamilton County brings together over 1,500 participants walking together in support of children and adults with mental illnesses and their families.
Save the date for Saturday, May 11, 2013. Take your first step along with thousands of others to raise the public's awareness of mental illnesses and break down the stigma surrounding it. There is no walker registration fee for the Walk. All participants are
encouraged to collect donations from family members, friends, co-workers, and business associates in support of their participation in the Walk. All the funds collected by Walkers will be used to fund NAMI's programs here in our community. These programs include
education, support, research and advocacy involving depreesion, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. All walkers raising $100 or more will receive a NAMIWalks event t-shirt.
