Mark your calendar and make plans to join us for our ninth annual NAMI Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Ventura Beach Promenade. All proceeds from the Walk will be used to fund NAMI's support, education, and advocacy programs right here in Ventura
County and surrounding areas. More importantly, this is an opportunity to reach out to the community to further our goals of raising awareness and erasing the stigma of mental illness. The NAMI Walk is Ventura County's largest mental health event of the year.
Thank you to all who made our 2012 Walk the biggest and most successful. Let's make the 2013 Walk an even bigger celebration for everyone affected by mental illness. Reach out and make sure you invite everyone you know to come to the Walk and to support the
Walk - those of us who live with a mental illness, the caregivers and providers who work with us, our family, friends, social networks, work colleagues, local businesses and members of the community.
