This Continuing education workshop will provide 3.0 CEUs and ICB approved CEUs (Category 1&2) Learning Objectives: * Establish the need for social workers to receive Substance Use Disorder training in response to workforce demands and established evidence-based
best practices * Illustrate how social workers’ bio-psychosocial skill set is ideally matched with the service needs of substance-affected consumers * Describe an effective and easily-replicated substance abuse counselor training program in partnership with
community provider/partners
