Worcester Cares About Recovery

6th Annual Worcester Cares About Recovery  (7468)

09/20/2014 11:00 AM - 09/20/2014 4:00 PM

This is Worcester's 6th annual city wide celebration of recovery from substance abuse .Each year across the country, millions of people are entering treatment for substance abuse and successfully joining millions on the “road” to recovery. We know that
recovery works and that people in recovery are leading successful, responsible lives as productive members of their communities. Worcester, once again, is joining with voices across the nation in celebrating the success of recovery with our 6th Annual Worcester
Cares about Recovery Walk and Celebration. People in recovery, family members, friends, healthcare professionals and local elected officials will unite to show that treatment works and recovery is possible. If you are in recovery, know someone who is in recovery,
support recovery, or know someone who needs to learn about recovery, join us in this celebration. There will be a free BBQ luncheon, live entertainment, kid’s activities and information and education on substance abuse prevention, treatment and recovery.
