The event focuses on the inspiring stories of recovery and the multitude of pathways individuals have forged to improve their health and well-being on a daily basis. The celebration is planned as a community outreach event that recognizes recovery begins
with that first step, that people can and do recover. Along with our Speakers, and guided by the eight dimensions of wellness, the event will also include healthy food/healthy eating demonstrations, health screenings, line dancing and Zumba, live music, food,
poetry, recovery themed poster competition, bystander CPR, children’s activities, teen network and an information and resource table.
