Recovery Happens is part of a nationwide celebration that supports people seeking to recover from mental illness or substance abuse and recognizes some of their many success stories. The event is organized each year to acknowledge people who are on the
road to recovery. Recovery Happens features community-interest booths with informative literature, a free barbecue, live music, and fun for children. Open to the entire community, this year’s 14th annual celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in
Auburn’s Recreation Park, which is at 123 Recreation Drive near Old Town Auburn on Saturday September 20, 2013. Phillip Dudley and the Doo-Rights and the Auburn Hip Hop Congress will provide music. There will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes too.
