How To Feature Events on Your Widget
When adding the widget to your website, it will automatically display the zip code search box when using the provided code. However, you can tailor the widget on your site to feature a particular event (or events), such as your own activities, by following the steps below:
1. Identify the event you would like to highlight by browsing the Recovery Month website here: http://www.recoverymonth.gov/Community-Events.aspx
2. After you have found an event you would like to highlight, make note of its EventID number, which is located in parenthesis after the event title (e.g., Houston Run for Recovery (2440)).
3. Within the code, enter the EventID number in the “FlashVars” area following the “featuredEvents=” term. See purple text below:

To display multiple featured events, separate EventID numbers using the 'pipe' | character, such as: featuredEvents=2440|2302|1314
4. Copy the embed code. The highlighted code below displays the code with EventID numbers, please use your EventID numbers instead of the example numbers.

5. To display the featured events instead of the search function, follow the display instructions.
6. Paste the embed code onto your website or blog.
