Hope House will hold its second annual Rally for Recovery on Saturday, September 21, 2013. This event will promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle among all age groups of the CSRA. Over 20 million Americans, including thousands of Georgians, are in recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. Hope House wants to raise local awareness about the issues of substance use disorder and available treatment. Families and individuals affected by addiction and recovery, employees and volunteers involved with recovery, and anyone from the general public are invited to attend.
Entertainment, including bounce houses and slides, are provided for any attending children, with information provided for all. A picnic style lunch, including hot dogs, chips, and dessert will be provided.
Join Hope House and other local providers to learn more about the disease of addiction and what you can do to help local residents, your friends, family, and neighbors, in the CSRA!
Hope House will be selling items, such as t-shirts, to help raise funds for its programs.
This event is FREE to the public.
