Growing up in the fashion industry, Yomi became the first British African face of Maybelline cosmetics worldwide while pursuing her undergraduate degree. She shares her experience of being a college student portraying the face of an international cosmetics brand, while undergoing a reflective, yet often daunting negotiation of her own self-image. Yomi uses her experience in fashion to reach young people and women internationally through a probing inquiry into self. Through her introspective and thought-provoking presentations, Yomi helps individuals to deconstruct the ideas that are projected by the media.
