Kids Tend to Pick Up Parents’ Alcohol, Drug Habits

New research suggests that our vices may become habits among our offspring. The study discovered parents who use alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs are more likely to have children who pick up their habits. Researchers from Sam Houston State University found that when compared to parents who did not use substances, parents who used alcohol, marijuana, and other illicit drugs were significantly more likely to have children who used those same drugs.
