Starting this year, you will see the "r" and r is for Recovery symbol prominently featured in Recovery Month campaign materials. You can help make the "r" and r is for Recovery symbol become recognizable symbols across the nation by using it in event signage, social media content, materials, giveaways, products, social media, etc. The Recovery Month logo, “r”, and the r is for Recovery symbol are developed for your use and do not require approval prior to use. The only requirement is that you use these elements in a positive context that helps to spread awareness and promote the power of recovery.
Show us how you use the "r" and r is for Recovery symbol in your recovery-related materials by sending photos to recoverymonth@samhsa.hhs.gov, using the #RisforRecovery hashtag, or uploading your materials in your event listing on the Recovery Month event calendar. By submitting photos with identifiable individuals, you are confirming that you have expressed permission to use and share them. Recovery Month and SAMHSA may display your images on its website or social media pages.
