A New Path works to reduce the prejudice and discrimination associated with substance use disorders through education and compassionate support. It also recommends therapeutic rather than punitive drug policies.

Advocates for Recovery

Advocates for Recovery is a grassroots recovery community organization made up of people throughout Colorado. The organization started with a handful of dedicated folks who recognized that the most difficult part of the road to recovery began after the individual had ceased using alcohol and other drugs.

Advocates for the Integration of Recovery and Methadone (AFIRM)

Advocates for the Integration of Recovery and Methadone supports methadone as an effective tool of recovery that can be enhanced through the integration of other treatment approaches. It promotes the development of Methadone Anonymous (MA) and other 12-step fellowships, as well as clinical treatment alternatives, such as incorporating spirituality modalities into traditional treatment settings.

Alcohol Justice

Alcohol Justice is a policy-focused organization that offers training and publications primarily concerned with alcohol marketing practices and counter strategies. It works closely with the World Health Organization and other groups to promote environmental prevention.

American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA)

The American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) works exclusively for licensed mental illness counselors by advocating for legislation that expands, enhances, and protects the right to practice; promotes mental illness awareness; and builds the profession of mental illness counseling nationally. AMHCA works to enhance the profession of clinical mental health counseling through licensing, advocacy, education, and professional development.

C4 Recovery Solutions, Inc.

The mission of C4 Recovery Solutions is to improve the accessibility and quality of substance use disorder treatment, and to promote long-term recovery solutions. C4 accomplishes this by initiating constructive dialogue about important issues in treatment and recovery; educating and motivating the substance dependency community and policymakers to adopt effective new treatment, program management, and payment strategies; and aiding in the design and implementation of programs that demonstrate the value of outcomes-informed funding systems for treatment and recovery services.
