These groups support individuals and organizations that offer health care services in an effort to enhance quality of care.

National Association of Medicaid Directors (NASMD)

The National Association of Medicaid Directors (NASMD) is a bipartisan, professional, nonprofit organization of representatives of state Medicaid agencies, affiliated with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). Its primary purposes are to serve as a focal point of communication between the states and the federal government and to provide an information network among the states on issues pertinent to the Medicaid program.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV)

The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) serves as the resource and technical assistance center for a national network of community-based service providers and local, state, and federal agencies. These groups provide emergency and supportive housing, food, health services, job training and placement assistance, and legal aid and case management support for hundreds of thousands of homeless veterans each year.

National Council for Behavioral Health

The National Council for Behavioral Health is the national association of community providers that care for more than eight million adults and children across the country who suffer from mental illness, development disabilities, and substance use disorders. Its members employ more than 750,000 staff and provide mental and substance use disorder treatment, rehabilitation, housing, and community support services.
