These organizations emphasize prevention of mental and/or substance use disorders through educational programs, awareness campaigns, and other materials.

The Recover Project

The Recover Project exists to foster recovery and empower individuals, families, and the greater community of Franklin County. It enhances the lives of people in recovery from substance and alcohol dependency, family members, and concerned others.

The Resource Training Center

The Resource Training Center provides the highest quality of training in alcohol dependence and substance misuse for those choosing to serve individuals living with alcohol or drug dependence and their families. By encouraging these workers in the field to pursue Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services-approved Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor credentials, they seek to validate their dedicated efforts as helpers while insuring qualitative treatment for those struggling with the effects of chemical dependency.

Treatment offers information about drug treatment centers, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis treatment resources, including blogs, forums, video sharing, and a comprehensive directory of more than 11,000 treatment facilities.
